BeaterCore Money and the Auto Parts Store

Earn enough to finish heat three. Do not open a dealership on day one.

Money and the Parts Store

BeaterCore’s wallet is a second difficulty slider. A tutorial wheel can cost around 500 cash, about half of a fresh stash in playtests. That is not a bug. It is the lesson: you are a mechanic with a tired hatchback, not a collector. This page is how money actually moves — store trips, rest days, junk parts, sponsorship cash, and what you keep after a lobby.

If you have not mounted a roof spare yet, stop and open getting started. Economy advice does not save a car that DNFs heat two.

Where cash comes from

Career events are the honest printer. Three-heat bookings pay more than a single pretty lap, which is why the career walkthrough keeps telling you to finish all heats. A DNF with a shredded tire is a store trip you cannot afford.

Time trials teach a surface and still pay. Use them when the car is tired. Contact events pay more paint in both directions: more risk, more wear, sometimes more cash if you finish.

Online and LAN races keep the money you earn on that save. A how-to video for Steam multiplayer is explicit: load the correct save, then host, because the wallet on that file is the one that receives the payout. Rewards in online were cut 30% in the 0.2.1-era balance pass so a two-person lobby is not an infinite printer. It can still beat a slow career night. Pack a field-repair trunk anyway — wear is identical to career.

Sponsorships are invoices with faces. Read sponsorships before you sign a contact weekend you cannot rubber. Spend the payout on S-tier parts from the parts tier list, not furniture.

The auto parts store is a place

Leave the garage, pan the hub with middle mouse, and walk into the shop. It has footsteps, ambience, and a catalog that wants you broke. Interact with E / pad X the same way you pull a wheel in garage repair.

Buy in this order until the wallet stops shaking:

  1. Replacement wheel if the tutorial tire is spent.
  2. Roof spare that auto-mounts on reset.
  3. Oil for a three-heat day.
  4. Air filter or plugs if the HUD is already complaining.
  5. Seasonal rubber from tuning when the hub calendar is ice or ruts.
  6. Nothing decorative.

If the part you need is not on the shelf, rest a day from the hub. Rest exists so you are not soft-locked on stock. Racing a cooked engine because the store is empty is how wallets die.

Dumping junk without a fantasy sell button

Players already ask how to get rid of old low-durability parts. There is no collector auction in the loop this wiki can document. The practical answer:

  • Stop packing bald tires in the trunk. Dead rubber is clutter, not a spare.
  • Leave spent parts on a garage shelf or the floor instead of taking them to an event.
  • Do not treat a 10% tire as a “backup” next to a roof spare that still has life.
  • Furniture can hold stockpiles. It does not magically convert junk into cash.

If a later patch adds a dedicated scrap sale, it will land in patch notes. Until then, the economy is “stop carrying corpses.”

When a second car is a trap

The used-car lot looks like a dealership. It is not your payday. The cars tier list ranks the starter as S-tier until it can finish three heats twice. A second project before that is two ways to DNF. Buy the job (winter set, contact dummy) only after the first beater is honest.

A weekly budget

  1. Rest or wrench: oil, matching tires, roof spare.
  2. Book a time trial on this week’s surface.
  3. Finish three heats or leave with data.
  4. Spend the payout on the part that actually failed.
  5. Talk to Boris if you are not broke.
  6. Rest if the store is empty.

That week is the whole money meta. Multiplayer can accelerate it if you host the correct save and do not bring a dying career engine. Split-screen does not print a separate wallet — it bruises the car in front of friends. Details stay on multiplayer.

BeaterCore launched as a $9.99 Steam purchase (intro 10% off through 16 September 2026). There are no redeem codes. The only economy that matters is the one inside the auto parts store.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common BeaterCore questions.

Why does one wheel cost half my money?

Playtests put a tutorial tire around 500 cash. That is the budget lesson. Buy the spare before furniture — getting started walks the first trip.

Do I keep multiplayer earnings?

Yes, on the save you loaded before you hosted. Load the correct file. Online rewards were cut 30% in a demo-era pass, but they still land in that wallet.

How do I sell old low-durability parts?

Stop packing them. Leave spent rubber in the garage. This wiki will not invent a scrap shop the game has not published.

The store does not have the part I need.

Rest a day from the hub. Rest skips calendar time so stock can move. See career.
